Sarah’s teacher training courses are 50-hour contact trainings accredited with yoga Australia.
They provide a comprehensive education in the use of yoga as a tool, while working with pregnant women or with parents. The training is for yoga teachers but has been broadly noticed and facilitated by midwives, doulas and other facilitators in the fitness industry who work with pregnant women, early parenting and anyone who is interested in this area, including pregnant women who are curious as to what and how to approach parenthood.
Sarah has a number of guest speakers in child psychology, hypnobirthing and pregnancy physiotherapy who support the training with their experience and guidance. Making this training one of the best in its field.
Sarah offers a technical as well as physical learning approach. Her manual is packed with a philosophical approach to teaching pre and postnatal yoga along with practical classes and experiments in how it feels to be pregnant!
She provides asana sequences that flow and align to all stages of pregnancy. Including contraindications in asana, pranayama and meditation that do not align in pregnancy.
Sarah offers sequences that are fun and balanced in their approach to teaching a 6-week cycle in mums and bubs classes.
This includes class management and skills to keep a class flowing when there is disruption.
